Fakir Musafar, School Director, is a Master Piercer and shaman with over 40 years experience in the body arts. Starting in 1948, he has championed the ancient practices and modern techniques in general use today. Fakir is a co-developer of the established techniques of contemporary body piercing. He has been called "Father of the Modern Primitive Movement".

Fakir's Body Piercing and Branding Intensives are the ONLY COMPREHENSIVE courses of instruction available today for those who would prepare themselves to do skilled, safe, aesthetically pleasing, and sophisticated body piercing and branding. All courses are intensive, one-on-one instruction tailored to the individual student. Classes are limited to ten or less students with the serious attention of experienced instructors.

Upon completion of courses, attendees recieve an attractive certificate to validate attendance and indicate their exposure to sophisticated skills. Course materials include all necessary tools & supplies and a workbook with drawings, diagrams, and information on technique, aesthetics, special considerations, and aftercare. Piercing course attendees recieve a comprehensive Health and Safety Manual. Attendance requires students to spend anywhere from two to five days in the San Francisco Area.

We are registered with the State of California. Registration means we have met certain minimum standards imposed by the state for registered schools on the basis of our written application to the state. Registration does not mean we have met all the more extensive standards required for schools that are approved or licensed or that the state has verified the information we submitted with our registration form. All classes are conducted in our downtown San Francisco classroom.
